Tamarind Learning seeks a self-starter, self-directed, and dynamic marketing and sales intern to provide the company with 10-20 hours a week of virtual marketing and sales support. Internships are available, and they are paid or unpaid, depending on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and availability. This individual will report to the COO.

Responsibilities:

• Support developing and implementing our sales and marketing strategies to promote our education technology products and services.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and target markets.
• Follow up on leads, nurture prospects, and support the TL team to help close new learners.
• Collaborate with the TL team to create engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, and websites.
• Create and curate content for funnels, social media, and Google ads.
• Organize virtual events, webinars, and support the development of our podcasts and promote our assessments and learning products.
• Using Zoho, create social media calendars for social channels with the goal of increasing social media engagement and sales.
• Engage with social media followers to build brand identity and rapport.
• Curate industry-relevant content for our monthly newsletter. Create and distribute newsletters, tracking engagement and following up with contacts as relevant.
• Create email funnels for client onboarding and post-enrollment experience.
• Analyze marketing and sales data to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide general administrative support to the TL team regarding marketing and sales efforts as needed.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in marketing, technology, family business, education, the education technology industry, and/or digital marketing; experience with graphic design a plus.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; experience with Envato, Zoho, Trello, Canva, or other design software a plus.
• Experience with social media platforms and marketing tools is a plus.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality about the work conducted at Tamarind Learning. You must be willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
